harness

We found out last week that Phoebe has a form of hip dysplasia that needs to be corrected with a harness. The good thing is that with the harness & because it was found this early, it has over a 90% success rate. The harness doesn't seem to bother her, which is great. It is only a pain for the person changing her diaper & clothes (I am getting the hang of it now though)! She has to wear it all the time for 6-8 weeks & then they will re-assess and she might just wear it at night at that point.

Wow. How did you know something was wrong? Thank goodness you noticed so early. We will keep you all in our prayers.

Thanks Sarah! They found a "hip click" when they move her legs/hips to the sides. It seems like it is pretty easy for the dr's to tell...glad we can do it now when she doesn't have a clue what is going on!
