The Complete Idiot's Guide To Clapping By Julia

Julia just learned how to clap & so now she feels she is an expert. In case you don't want to go out & buy her new book I have included the main highlights:

Step 1- Extend arms fully as if to spell out the letter "t" with your body. (This will help you build up enough force to get a loud sound following step 4).
Step 2- Bring your hand/arms in towards your body, as if you are about to do the robot. Note: This step is a good one to give a little "smirk"...it draws attention & adds a little mystery to the clap.
Step 3-Don't let steps 1 & 2 get you to confused..you are almost done. This is an easy one...just bring the hands a little closer together, however, don't...and I repeat DON'T bring them together just yet. (No smirk needed...just concentrate)
Step 4-You made it! Congratulations. Bring your hands together (as if you were to pray) in a swift motion. If you want to add a little sass to your clap, partially stick your tongue out. Now repeat steps 1-4...over, & over, & over.......

For more information on clapping please see:http://www.wikihow.com/Clap-Your-Hands
Julia doesn't agree with the part were they say that "there is no wrong way to clap" (I think this is her way to get you to buy her book). She also would like for you to know she doesn't agree with the part that they say "Although clapping is a sign of happiness or in excitement, you don't clap for yourself when being praised or awarded. It shows rudeness and disrespect, like saying "I know I'm great, praise me." As she does quite often clap for herself...

If that got you excited by that (or even got this far reading this entry...:) you may be happy to hear Julia is starting her research for the sequel...The Complete Idiot's Guide To SO BIG...see below.

Borders Outing

We met up with our little baby cousin, Gibson & his Mommy, at Borders last Friday. He is the sweetest little thing. We can't wait for the summer to go to the zoo & to the water park!

Check out my LOOT!

My first Easter went really well. Check out all the neat stuff my Grand Aunt's got me...wow...I REALLY LOVE Easter. I have a feeling Mom may take a picture in that wagon sometime soon...wish me luck. Mom even let me try some lamb cake & ice cream...I screamed when she didn't keep it comming. I was very tired by the end of the day.

Julia is really loving slipping & sliding all over the hardwood floors.

I think we live in a zoo!

And I am always cleaning up someone's mess........!!! Kind of funny. I think that is the best picture I could ever get of those 3 together!

Baby is getting BIG

It is weird looking at these pictures side by side. She is owning that chair now! Go Girl.

Look what they brought me home from Jamaica, MON!

We got home from vacation last night. I couldn't wait to get a picture of Julia in the hat.... So cute! Even though we missed Julia, we had SUCH a great time. It was very hard to go from such beautiful weather to cold, but, nice to be back home with the baby.
New Trick:
Julia is now waving just by me saying "can you wave?"....Grandma must have been really working on this with her. I'm so proud!
