Proof

Since I can't seem to get Julia to show off her talents in public here is some proof. This video shows her pat her head & "tickle" Rosie (It took me tickling Rosie like 4 times before she would....sorry to put you through that). Julia says tickle it sounds like "giddin" & she hasn't yet gotten the concept that you actually have to be touching something in order to tickle. In Julia's "Tiny Caterpillars" class we sing Head & Shoulders. The other day I asked her where her head was & much to my surprise she knew.

Past Weekend

This past weekend we got together for a visit with Grandpa R & Grandma J in Indiana. Julia had fun playing with Kennedy. Of course it wouldn't be a true get together without a few tears from Julia!

Basement Update

We had the drywall installed this past weekend! Still have to install trim & doors & paint, but, it is looking more & more like a finished basement. As I was looking at these pictures closer I realized I wasn't alone in the basement. Seems Julia & Kennedy have already started to play down there. Kennedy...does your Mom know you are here? It always makes me a little nervous to know you are driving by yourself here...

Happy 4th!

Happy 4th to you!

We have family friends that generously let us borrow their condo that faces Grant Park last night for the fireworks downtown. Around a million people come to the park to watch the fireworks, so to be able to watch them in peace from prime real estate above is wonderful. Julia was really funny during the show, when she was on the balcony she wanted to be inside & when she was inside she wanted to be on the balcony. She was nervous but excited at the same time.
