Monkey Joe's

We met up with some old friend's & their kids at Monkey Joe's in Wheaton. It was so much fun. Julia was scared at first, but, my friend's daughter went with her & that really helped. You know those people that you can go long periods of time w/out seeing & then when you do see them it is the same? These are those types of friends! I just love that!

Farm Weekend

Here are the pictures from our FUN weekend at the farm. Julia got to spend some quality time with her cuz & had a blast! They played so great together! The 3rd collage below you will see the shot w/ all 3 kids & Grandpa, that shot about summed up the photo shoot! Nobody wanted to cooperate...ahhh! Oh well! Monday night we headed for some taco's at Indiana Beach & had so much fun! Great weekend:)

Out & About

Ghia's Tower

One of Julia's favorite things to do is to go downtown to "Ghia's Tower" she came up with that & I think it is pretty cute. Since they are filming Transformers 3 right now, we headed over to Michigan Ave to try to catch a glimpse. It was really hard to, they have parts of Michigan blocked off & people that keep you moving along. On the way back to the tower we stopped at the park & Phoebe got SOAKED! We waited for Grandpa then went swimming! Lots of fun @ the tower:)

Wisconsin Dells 3

I was really surprised I was able to get Julia to go on the boat. She was really scared & held onto me for dear life, but, I think she was glad she did it. Everyone had such a fun time tubing & Jake rented some skis one of the days, so, we were so glad our friends brought it along!

We were planning on making s'mores on one of the fire pits they had, but, ended up doing them on the grill.

Wisconsin Dells 2

Below are pictures from the Storybook Gardens/Zoo. The highlight of the Zoo is that you can feed a Giraffe up close & personal. Not everyone was excited about that! Check out the tongue on that guy! It was a really fun place to go with the kids & a larger group of people.

We went on a wonderful family vacation to The Dells with 3 other families. The hotel we stayed at was great for all 17 of us. We split up 2 families per unit & the units each had 3 rooms (1 master & 2 others) it really worked out well. We spent most of the time at the resort swimming, playing, boating, & made mostly all our meals there. They had a grill outside the units we stayed in. I wasn't sure how it would all go down, but, it was really relaxing & the kids had so much fun, also, everyone still liked each other by the end! We stayed 3 nights & we were saying at the end we probably could have done one more:)

One of the highlights of the trip for me was that we finally managed to get Julia to get into the pool!!! She really wanted to ride on the raft (she called it her boat). That made me so happy that she could enjoy it!!!

Phoebe could have probably played at that fountain the entire time. She loved splashing & getting all wet.

Tap/Ballet

Julia is now in a ballet/tap combo class & loves it! It is so cute to watch them "tap".

KC Randoms

4th of July continued at Park

We ventured over to the park on the 4th. The highlight was the "food counter". The picture of Tate cracks me up it looks like he is saying "DO YOU WANT FRIES WITH THAT?"!

Saturday night we had everybody over to the hotel to celebrate Grandma Mary's 75th Birthday!

After Worlds of Fun we headed back to Grandma Mary's & had a nice dinner & the kids got a chance to play.

Worlds of Fun

We had lots of fun at Worlds of Fun. Julia was a little scared of some of the rides at 1st, but, once we found the ones she liked she was good. Phoebe & Tate spent the day with Grandma Kathy & Great Grandma Mary, it was nice to be able to enjoy with just the older girls. What a exciting day!!!

Kansas City Trip

First stop in KC was to the Kimball side. Julia & Kennedy had such a fun time playing with Cousin Hanna & Cousin Zander. We didn't have enough time with them!
