Harness Update- 2 weeks

Tuesday marked a whole 2 weeks we have survived in the harness to date. The Doctor had to make some significant adjustments to it due to her rapid weight gain (about 2 #'s in 2 weeks...go girl). Her hips have stabilized which means the harness is working.

Great-Grandma Visit

We had a really nice visit with Jake's Grandma Mary last Saturday. Julia had a ton of fun. In the picture of Mary holding Phoebe, you can see how we have to swaddle her...it is kind of funny...poor baby!

We found out last week that Phoebe has a form of hip dysplasia that needs to be corrected with a harness. The good thing is that with the harness & because it was found this early, it has over a 90% success rate. The harness doesn't seem to bother her, which is great. It is only a pain for the person changing her diaper & clothes (I am getting the hang of it now though)! She has to wear it all the time for 6-8 weeks & then they will re-assess and she might just wear it at night at that point.

Cousin Visit

Kennedy & Tate came to visit Phoebe for the 1st time last Saturday! Julia had so much fun with Kennedy!

Phoebe- 3 Days

She is very easy to take pictures of! I don't even have to work for it!!! 3 Days old & we are loving every minute of her. She is such a sweetie...I can hardly even stand it!

Coming Home!

Phoebe Rose Kimball

Phoebe Rose Kimball was born 6.1.09 @ 2:32 pm. She weighed 8 lbs 2 oz & was 19 1/2 inches long. She looks just like Julia did when she was born! Will post more pictures soon!
