Can you believe it?

I think I just blinked and this year went by. I can't believe how fast it went & now Julia is One. It is true what they say that once you have kids you can't remember what your life was before them! She is really her own person now with a quirky personality to her. Her happiness is contagious & as sad as I am to see her not so much a "baby" anymore, I am so excited to see the beautiful person she is to become!

Jake is away for work so today Julia & I headed downtown to have a birthday brunch with Uncles & Grandma/pa.

I put together a slide show from this past year & apologize in advance for it's lengthiness! Hopefully it works...haven't had much luck in the past with these videos!!

The Bash

On Saturday we had a joint birthday party to celebrate Kennedy & Julia turning 1. The party was wonderful & it is apparent the girls are loved by so many. Julia got such great gifts, she is going to have so much fun playing with them. Happy Birthday Girls!

Cute Girls

Kennedy & Julia spent some time together while we worked on stuff for the party. They had a good time playing. The bath was off to a fun start before that scary toy got into the tub!!

Julia got a baby, stroller, & outfit for her birthday from her California relatives. So cute!

Wow...this is post #60, I am really proud of myself for keeping up with it. I only wish I had started it when she was born...oh well. We had Julia's 1st year pictures taken this morning. Below are some of my favorites. Julia did really good...we got over 70 good pictures! Wow. Thanks so much Diana! They turned out beautiful.

A New Me!

As you are aware, I will be turning one very soon. I feel like it is time for a new look...a look that says "look at me...I'm one". My hair has been growing & I am going to have to have some styling ideas ready.

Born only 5 days apart, it is hard to believe these cousins will both turn one soon...how fast this year has gone (sniff, sniff)! Had some cute one year picture's taken of them.

I surprised Mom tonight by really having some fun in the tub. Don't get me wrong I would do a little splish splash here & there, however, tonight I was swimming & getting really crazy! I think I am going to have fun this summer in the pool.
