We had a whirlwind of a Christmas visiting all 3 of our familys in 4 days. Nice to spend time with relatives. Julia got lots of fun stuff...she should be set for a while!
See you in 2009!

Julia & Aunt Care
Julia enjoying the pancakes Papa Jonah cooked for her.
Julia got a Gingerbread Train Kit from her Grandie D & we had fun putting it together. Julia liked the green frosting. Of course, no activity would be complete without a few tears! The video is the answer to "what does Santa say" minus one "ho".
Julia loves going outside...she calls it siiiiiide. Well, since our drive was covered in snow we decide to get Julia all bundled up to play while Jake cleared. First of all, the she started crying because the shovel scared her. Then the neighbors came over offering to plow the drive to help with a church mission and well you can only imagine what happened when they turned the snowblower on! So, Jake decided to take her in our backyard...well she fell on her face & basically it took longer to get everything on her then the actual amount of time she spent outside!
We have a lot to give Thanks for this year from our Family & Friends to a new baby on the way next year!
We drove to Kansas City again this Thanksgiving this year. Julia did really well in the car considering the 7 1/2 hour drive. We stayed with Great Grandma Mary & Great Grandpa Charles. Grandma Mary made a wonderful Thanksgiving meal for us & we enjoyed our time visiting. Julia's 2nd Cousin Leah came over on Thanksgiving & the following day as well.
On Saturday we drove over to Jake's Grandma & Grandpa Kimball's to visit that side & the last picture is of all the Great Grandchildren. We made it home last night at 11 pm & it is now 9:40 am & Julia is still asleep!
Didn't have very good luck catching cute pictures at the patch this year. Julia was in a weird mood & wouldn't go very close to the pumpkins as they "scared" her. Hopefully next year will be better!
Today we started a new class "Little Learners" through the park district. We are taking this class with Julia's new friend Morgan who we met in Tiny Caterpillars, which is fun knowing somebody going into. In the class they had a table with coloring books & crayons and for the entire class Julia sat at the table and colored.
Lately, it has been hard getting dinner ready because Julia wants attention. So, today I tried having her color while I made dinner. She sat there for about 40 minutes...enough time for me to clean, unpack groceries, & make dinner!
PS. In case you didn't know, you can print out coloring pages from the Internet.
Kath, Jodi, & Kennedy came up yesterday to see us. Jodi & I were supposed to go downtown to a fair, however, the weather was so gross we decided to skip.
I had gotten out the Bumbo Seat for Gibson today & Julia decided she likes it again. The only problem is when she wants out is that her behind gets stuck. It is so funny to she that picture then look back on when she first was using that chair. I forgot she used to have no neck!
